Parties & Engagement
Who is involved and how this engagement will work?
Independent Contractor Agreement — guided builder powered by WaterTight’s structured clause engine.
Set the legal backdrop and broad type of work so we can tune examples and defaults in later steps.
This affects certain clauses, like Non-Compete and Data Protection.
This only shapes examples and guidance – it doesn't lock you into a template.
You can leave these blank for now if you prefer. The Agreement will fall back to generic placeholders.
A clear name, engagement type, and short description help generate a stronger Overview and Scope in the Agreement.
This feeds into the Overview and helps frame what the engagement covers.
These appear as bullet points in the Scope section. You can keep this high-level for now and refine later.
This is the most common setup. The ICA will treat your own Scope of Work document as part of the Agreement. If you leave this unticked, the details you enter here (services and deliverables) will form the Scope of Work inside the Agreement itself.
